On the 18th of February 25 people went on hungerstrike after brutal violence by the guards. They resist the regime of detention withoiut limit for migrants whose only “crime”is: not the right documents. That’s how the system puts it anyway. The Ministry of Justice is still in denial of the facts: they have blood on their hands and should have shame in their guts, if only for the Schiphol Fire. And now they deny the struggle of their victims.
Here is the voice of Mohamed Ali (from Somalia), who called us from inside Block L.
So M2M is in direct contact with six of the 25 migrants that went on hungerstrike two weeks ago (Wednesday 18-2). They call on us to help them. The way we walk with them is a massive visit
and inspection of the whole complex on Friday 6 and Saturday 7th of March. Bothdays from 12 until 4 p.m.
